Marina Koshman - Registered Psychologist (Engadine)

Marina is a compassionate and curious Registered Psychologist working at our Engadine Psychology Clinic. Marina’s goal is to alleviate those suffering from psychological distress and to enable people to live a life that is meaningful for them. Marina holds a Master of Clinical Psychology (with Distinction) from The University of Wollongong.

She has experience supporting people in therapy and assessment across the lifespan. Marina has worked with people experiencing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, stress and trauma, psychotic illnesses, personality disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders. She has worked in private practice settings, hospital inpatient and outpatient units, including in a forensic setting.

Marina has a particular interest in anxiety and mood disorders, neurodevelopmental assessment, trauma, and working with young people. Marina works using a model of traumainformed and culturally aware care.

She draws upon a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), MindfulnessBased Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy. Marina is passionate about incorporating elements from these approaches to suit each individual she works with.
